The 2025 AFA North Alumni Cruise
Feb 15 - 22, 2025
As was discussed with the Alumni at the 2022 Reunion Weekend, it was decided to shift the reunion weekend and formal dinner to every two years.
In May of this year we are having the Alumni Weekend and Homecoming back in Toms River. Invites are in the mail and we hope to see everyone in Toms River and back at the Old Campus to celebrate with the brotherhood.
Because the Alumni Cruse this past October 2023 was so successful (see recap below), the Association decided to continue this tradition and put together another cruse for next year in 2025. Because the cruise industry works one to one and a half years out from sailings, we had to reserve out block of rooms early to get the best price.
The AFA North Alumni Association has been working with one of the premier cruise travel agents in the country, Ms. Kathryn Crouch, to put together this grand event and celebration of our unique Farragut Northern heritage. Follow the link below for all the cruise and booking details listed on out website.

The AFA North 90th Anniversary
Alumni Cruise
Oct 29 - Nov 5 2023
It's been 90 years since OUR Admiral Farragut Academy was established in 1933 under the towering pines on the banks of the Toms River. As was discussed with the Alumni at the 2022 Reunion Weekend, it was decided to shift the reunion weekend and formal dinner to every two years. During the "between year", we will organize different events for our Alumni to continue to gather in different settings. So this year, in fine Navy Tradition, and to celebrate the rich traditions, brotherhood, and pride of AFA North, a group of alumni got underway for an incredible week on the Royal Caribbean Wonder of the Seas, leaving the cold of November behind for fun in the Caribbean sunshine.
Our group of brothers and their lovely partners enjoyed some great camaraderie, good food and wonderful entertainment while renewing friendships and telling a lot of tall tales of days gone past. It couldn't have gone any better for those who joined the celebration.
We also had a special additional celebration as Lorenzo Lamas 75N and his now lovely bride Kenna tied the knot onboard the Wonder of the Seas during the Alumni Cruise...It was a special and magical event... We all wish the happy couple a long and happy marriage...
Lorenzo.... thanks for sharing this wonderful event with the brotherhood.

Because of the hard work of Nick Morris 59N, the alumni ordered enough rings back in the spring for Jostens to continue to produce our iconic class rings. The rings can still be ordered through a special site set up for AFA North through Jostens. You will be dealing direct with Jostens and the order process is easy. Announcing the Establishment of the AFA Pine Beach Alumni Association
Farragut Will Ever Stand
Alma Mater True
The President and Board of Directors are proud to announce the AFA Northern Brotherhood now has an official Alumni Association. The Admiral Farragut Academy Pine Beach Association is incorporated as a non-profit corporation in the state of NJ as the official Alumni organization of the former AFA Pine Beach campus . This organization grew out of the Pine Beach Reunion Committee that started gathering Northern Alumni 13 years ago for the sole purpose of rekindling the brotherhood and friendships we all enjoyed. As time went on and the reunions grew in size, the committee realized the Northern Alumni were looking for an organization to rally around and act as the keeper of the history and traditions of AFA North.
HONOR - PRIDE - TRADITION - BROTHERHOOD
Our mission is simple:
To continue the brotherhood and fellowship amongst the Alumni of Admiral Farragut Academy North and to preserve the history, memories and traditions of the Academy that once stood tall on the banks of the Toms River.
The Association will serve the interests of our Alumni through various functions and activities as the reunion committee has for the past 13 years.
